Everything All At Once
◼ 2023◼ Display & Installation / Posters & AR
The project is an immersive experience composed of experimental posters. I drew inspiration from music, specifically metal rock, and incorporated it into the project by playing music throughout. This allowed me to tap into my synesthesia and align my creative instincts with the music.

The posters themselves feature a metal-inspired style with fluid, three-dimensional effects to convey a psycho-aesthetic. I experimented with various fluorescent color gradients to create different atmospheres. In addition, I integrated an AR effect into the posters, allowing the audience to interact with a virtual pattern. The project culminates in a large-scale installation that creates an immersive experience akin to an exhibition.

This is my final project for my MFA in Graphic Design, “Everything All At Once.” It represents the culmination of my two-year program, incorporating a variety of elements in a single work. Through this project, I aimed to capture the essence of my studies by integrating diverse design techniques and concepts into a cohesive and impactful presentation.

Everything All At Once

In "Everything All At Once", I have compiled my experiences and works created during my graduate studies, incorporating my insights and emotions. This publication showcases a range of projects, including typography, experimental design, music visualization, motion graphics, and interactive design.

To enrich the content, I engaged in dialogues with various professionals. I interviewed New York artist, DJ, and photographer Cristiano Grim, representatives from Shenzhen's OIL CLUB, and South Korean independent designers Hoiyoon Hong and CY. These conversations provided valuable insights and further solidified my design sensibilities and style. "Everything All At Once" reflects my growth as a designer and the diverse influences that have shaped my work.
